Lucknow: A meeting of the State Level High Power Steering Committee (SHPSC) of Amrit 2.0 was held under the chairmanship of UP Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh.
In his address, the Chief Secretary said that only one tender should be made in a city. In the projects running under Amrit 1.0, 100 percent of the families should get tap connections. Untreated water should not go into any pond.
In the meeting, DPR of 27 projects of Amrit 2.0 was approved. The total cost of DPR is Rs 133667.12 lakh, which includes Rs 104010.15 lakh capex and Rs 29656.97 lakh O&M under Amrit 2.0. In the meeting, 27 water supply projects and 16 water body rejuvenation DPRs and 5 park and green space projects were approved. On completion of these projects, 1,76,394 households will get connections. In the same sequence, DPR of 16 water body rejuvenation in Amrit 2.0 was approved in the meeting, whose total cost is Rs 2783.77 lakh. Apart from this, 5 Park and Green Space Projects were approved in Amrit 2.0, whose total cost is Rs 2107.54 lakh.
This includes conservation of Mehndi Bagh Park with Ketaki Flower (Mohammadi-Kheri), Babu Kalyan Singh Memorial Park (Chhibramau-Kannauj), Mango Park Kali West (Lucknow), Green Space Development between Durga Temple and Janaki Ghat (Mau) and Development of Ambedkar Park in Pardha (Mau).
The DPR of 27 approved projects includes Dhankaur Nagar Panchayat Reorganization Water Supply Scheme in Gautam Buddha Nagar, Rabupur Nagar Panchayat Reorganization Water Supply Scheme, Nagar Panchayat Reorganization Water Supply Scheme Bilaspur and Jahangirpur Nagar Panchayat Water Supply Scheme. Similarly, sewerage scheme of Karkar model in ward-43 of Ghaziabad, water supply scheme of zone 1, 2, 3, 5 of Bulandshahr Nagar Palika and Hapur water supply scheme part 2 are included in the approved projects.
Apart from this, Kairana water supply reorganization scheme in Shamli, Etah Nagar Palika Parishad reorganization water supply scheme in Etah, water supply scheme Nagar Palika Parishad Etawah (reorganization) part-2 in Etawah, balance pipeline and house connection scheme in Nagar Palika Parishad Sitapur in Sitapur are also included in the approved projects. Similarly, Pilibhit Nagar Palika Parishad (Pilibhit district) reorganization water supply scheme (zone-1, 2, 3, 5 and 6), Khirouni Suchitganj (Nagar Panchayat) reorganization water supply scheme in Ayodhya, Kumarganj Nagar Panchayat water supply scheme and Bikapur (Nagar Panchayat) water supply and house service connection scheme are included.
Itwa Water Supply Scheme (Reorganization) of Nagar Panchayat Siddharth Nagar, Barhni Bazaar Water Supply Scheme (Reorganization) of Nagar Panchayat Barhni Bazaar, Sindhi Mill Colony (Deoria Nagar Panchayat Council) Water Supply Scheme of Deoria, Handia (Municipality) Reorganization Water Supply Scheme of Prayagraj, Kachhwa Nagar Panchayat Reorganization Water Supply Scheme of Mirzapur, Water Supply Reorganization in Nagar Panchayat Rasra of Ballia and Saidpur Water Supply Reorganization Scheme in Ghazipur are also included in the approved projects. The DPR of 16 water body rejuvenation includes Bhaghawa pond ward no. 10 (Sonbhadra), water body ward no. 9 (Moradabad), Sau pond (Shravasti), Mangal Pandey Nagar pond (Basti), Harupur pond ward 10 (Chandauli), Rajepur pond (Jaunpur), Bhimpur pond (Deoria), Nawab pond (Shamli), Gandhi pond ward no. 9 (Banda), Saraya pond Pandit Deen Dayal Nagar (Mau), Bharthana pond (Etawah), Dheer pond (Kannauj), Water body Forest Office (Kannauj), Water body near Collectorate Office (Kannauj), Maniharan pond (Amethi), Puranik pond Malviya Nagar (Kanpur Dehat). Principal Secretary Urban Development Amrit Abhijat and other senior officers were present in the meeting.
